Here is what I made with some leftover bamboo hardwood flooring.
This small full bath was in desperate need of an upgrade from the original fixtures. It was time for it to go. Looking for ways to save money, I decided to get creative.
To go with the rustic theme I had planned. I left the vanity countertop natural and sealed with a polyurethane finish.
The mirror frame was stained a rich brown the same as the vanity with an inner border left natural as the countertop. The wood used was tongue and grove and actually worked great in constructing this frame. The grove part of the wood was placed in the inner sides to hold the mirror and the outer edge tongue was cut and sanded flush.
Who would have thought extra flooring could be used to create this. Imagine what you can create upusing some of your extra material.
